About Us

Biovault Technical is the largest private Human Tissue Bank in the UK and the only one to work with the NHS in providing human tissue and cells for transplantation. Since our inception in 2002 we have processed and stored a range of cell type, including PBSC's, Bone Marrow, Cord Blood, Tendons, and Bone Products. We are regulated by the UK Human Tissue Authority.

We have over 2 decades of experience as a clinical human tissue bank, processing and storing both a wide range of human tissue and cells for use in many different clinical applications. We are the tissue bank for the NHS South-West Peninsula Transplantation Service. In addition to our expertise in the field of stem cell recovery and storage we also work closely with public and private clinics and hospitals to store and supply a wide range of human tissues for clinical applications.

We have successfully released many cord blood stem cell samples for transplant on behalf of private clients, and over 5,000 peripheral blood and bone marrow stem cell samples for transplants in both private clinics and on behalf of an NHS cancer treatment program.
