Description

If you are passionate about your business making positive changes to the environment, then this event is a MUST where you can join us to discuss your ideas over breakfast.

On Tuesday 28th July Devon & Plymouth Chamber will be hosting our Green Breakfast Networking event at Home Park, the home of Plymouth Argyle.

Our line-up of speakers include:

Brendon Houghton – Director at ME Contracting
Brendon will discuss the road to Net Zero, and how businesses can reduce their carbon footprint by “keeping things simple”. There are many ways to aid going green which are not complicated, expensive or time consuming and we will look to discuss various options for businesses of all sizes.

Christian Kent, Head of Venue at Hospitality & Events, Plymouth Argyle Football Club
On Earth Day 2022, Plymouth Argyle and the Argyle Community Trust announced the launch of their inaugural Energy and Environmental Plan, which serves as the blueprint for Argyle’s journey to net zero greenhouse gas emissions. Christian will be talking about Plymouth Argyle’s journey to zero admissions

Glen Gardner, Cruise New Business Development Manager & Sustainable Tourism Project Manager at Destination Plymouth Ltd.
Glen will be talking about the Green Tourism sustainability accreditation programme that is running in Plymouth.

The Green Tourism accreditation programme helps, celebrates and recognises business for being sustainable through an accredited assessment programme culminating in achieving a Gold, Silver, or Bronze award based on your score is a great way to gauge your business's sustainability.

Mark Collins, Head of Commercial at Go South West
Bus to the future.

Gareth Thomas, Director at Zedify Plymouth

Zedifyaims helps create less congested, less polluted and more liveable cities. They do this by pioneering and normalising the use of hyperlocal microhubs and zero emission vehicles for deliveries within cities.
