Description

Crunchy Breakfast is back!

Join us for a fantastic breakfast and networking event with topics you can bite right into. We are delighted to bring back our Crunchy Breakfast event in 2022 due to popular demand.

The world is facing new challenges and one of the biggest issues is the ability for businesses to adapt to the rapid introduction of new technologies. The drive to explore and incorporate new digital advances and innovative technologies into our everyday businesses may amplify concerns regarding being replaced by automated processes. This in turn can contribute to the rejection of new ideas and concepts.

Are you brave enough to embrace new technologies to keep your business ahead of the pack? Overcoming fear of new technologies must be prioritised by the business sector in order to compete in the regional, national and global markets.  If you want to find out more about how you can face this challenge in a dynamic environment come and join us at this very special Crunchy Breakfast.

Our speakers include:

  • Ollie Jackman, Co-Founder and Director of Agile Comms: Ollie will talk about the challenges of post-lockdown communications, the digital revolution and the mobile workforce. In our increasingly competitive and busy business world; prospects, clients and business contacts demand professional communication on their terms. Are your staff equipped and ready to connect with your audience in the most effective way?

  •  Xander Tilley, Security Operations Centre Analyst, Bluescreen IT: Dissecting the hack. Xander will be covering a brief case study of recent cyber-attacks that have happened over the years and the sudden rise of cybercrime. He will also give an overview of being in the industry as a SOC Analyst.

  • David Gadd, CEO, Vertical Plus: David will be looking at trends in E Commerce before and during and the COVID 19 lockdowns of 2020 and 2021 and will offer some insight into what is likely to happen in 2022.
  • Matt Cook, Nexus: How to reduce your IT operating costs and improve your carbon scoring with cloud computing.

Bring a non-member guest to get your ticket for free. Please email jasmine.peglar@devonchmber.co.uk for more details on this offer.

  • This event has been organised in line with current Government guidance for Coronavirus in England. We advise all guests to wear a face covering while moving around unless eating or exempt.
