DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday 24th May Devon & Plymouth Chamber will be hosting our Green Breakfast Networking event at Riverford Field Kitchen!\n\n\n\nThere will be some exciting guest speakers. If you are passionate about business making positive changes to the environment then join us to discuss your ideas over breakfast. \n\n\n\nTake a look at our exciting line-up:\n\n Amanda Keetley\, Director at Devon Environment Foundation - how to make your organisation nature positive\n Zac Goodall\, Head of Sustainability\, and team at Riverford Field Kitchen to welcome guests to the venue and sharing details of their Net Zero programmes with an exclusive tour to finish off. They will cover:\n \n Climate Plan (we've pledged to reach net zero carbon emissions in the operations under our direct control by 2030)\n Biodiversity Plan (encouraging wildlife on our farms and beyond) \n Farming for the Future Plan (working with our suppliers to develop more sustainable ways of producing food)\n \n \n Oli Lee\, Director of How Now Dairy - Director and Farmer at How Now Dairy. Changing the norms within Agriculture. Producing and delivering Carbon Negative milk delivered to local communities. \n Adam King\, MD of YGS Environmental Consultants on behalf of YGS Landscaping our Devon & Plymouth Chamber Green Partners and event sponsors.

LOCATION:Riverford Field Kitchen\, Wash Farm Bungalow\, Buckfastleigh\, TQ11 0JU TRAVEL Venue: Riverford Organic Farmers Ltd\, Buckfastleigh\, Devon\, TQ11 0JU. Sat Nav: use the postcode TQ11 0JU and then follow the green signs for Riverford Field Kitchen. Arriving by car: Coming from Exeter or Plymouth (If coming from further away\, use the M5\, which becomes the A38.) Come off the A38 at Buckfastleigh and take the A384 for Totnes. Continue on this road and take the third exit on the left signposted 'Riverford Organics' (black sign with lorry). Then follow the instructions in bold below. Coming from Totnes From Totnes\, head towards Dartington. At the Dartington Cider Press roundabout turn right\, taking the A384 for Buckfastleigh and Exeter. Once over Riverford Bridge continue for one mile and take the second right-hand turn\, which is signposted 'Riverford Organics'. Then follow the instructions in bold below. Once you have taken the turning for 'Riverford Organics'\, continue for approximately half a mile. You will reach the main entrance to Riverford. Do not take the turning on the left\; instead follow the signs for The Riverford Field Kitchen\, which has its own carpark 500m up the road. Upon entering the carpark\, drive to the far end where spaces are reserved for Field Kitchen customers. Arriving by train: nearest railway station is Totnes (5 miles from venue\, you will need a taxi to get to the venue from here). Arriving by bus or bike: Should you be arriving by bike\, Riverford do have bikes racks on site where you can lock your bike. We have been informed that no public transport goes anywhere near the farm\, so access is mainly by car\, bike or taxi.
