However\, this must be paid back at 40 a year from April 2023\, this will be automatically added to bills (like a levy) and you cannot opt out.\n Secondly\, people who pay Council Tax with properties in Bands A - D will have received a one-off payment of 150 in April 2022. There is also a discretionary fund for those who do not meet the criteria (contact Plymouth City Council for further information). They have an information page about it here.
